The Colorado Springs CAMP CASEY peace camp is determined to do its best to SHUT DOWN THE ILLEGAL WAR IN IRAQ.
The fortuitous happenstance which became the Colorado Springs IRAQ WAR MEMORIAL is an effort to raise awareness of the human cost of the present war, if only the American cost.
It is hoped that such a memorial will cause reflection and remorse, and might hasten an already overdue end to the occupation of Iraq.
